He has participated in several international exhibitions and residencies and his work is part of numerous private collections. While born in Victoria, he has lived in Montreal and Berlin for a combined 18 years. His work, while primarily based in oil painting, is a distillation of media and technology. Using a process that combines techniques of painting and photography, difficult subject matter is transformed through a selection of devices adopted from the history of visual expression.
