Biography David Kaarsemaker holds a BFA from Concordia University and an MFA from the University of Ottawa. Biography Tony has been working professionally for thirty years as a commercial photographer and is a photo arts graduate (BAPA) from Toronto Metropolitan University . He currently teaches digital photography, iPhoneography and Photo-Based Mixed Media and Collage at University of Victoria Continuing Ed. Tony has also taught workshops at The Coast Collective, The Denman Island Arts Centre, The Old School House in Qualicum Beach, MISSA and “Series” at Red Deer College in Alberta. Over the last 15 years, Tony has worked in several different mediums, including digital artwork, alternative based photography, mixed media, collage and encaustics. His work draws inspiration from his travels, the environment, topographic mapping, satellite photography and medical imagery.
