This sketchbook will be used for writing out your story and for making the storyboard for your graphic novel. We will be discussing art supplies on the first day. Discover Tamara Bond's background and education. Biography Tamara Bond was born in Prince George BC and received her BFA from Emily Carr University in 1999. Her work has been shown in commercial and public galleries and Artist run-centres across Canada. Bond is represented by Madrona Gallery in Victoria, BC. She is a recent recipient of an Explore and Create Canada Council Grant (2021) to create a graphic memoir and another (2022) to create a series of large scale, mixed media paintings. Bond’s studio practice involves storytelling with many mediums including collage, painting, mixed media and drawing. She attempts to draw everything that her mind considers, and combines them all to create narratives from.
