Explore various painting approaches and techniques to depict the subject of landscape. You will learn how to use painting mediums and work with translucent layers and glazes, and to build up paintings through underpaintings, and opaque “all prima” wet-on-wet painting techniques. You will discover ways of using colour theory to play with the illusion of depth in painting. You will work from life, photographs, and collages.
