Supply List - Watercolour: Experimental Landscapes

-watercolour pan set or watercolour in tubes (blue, red, yellow, orange, violet, green)

(if you already own watercolours bring what you have)

-#10 or #12 round synthetic sable watercolour brush

-#4 or #6 round synthetic sable watercolour brush (optional helpful for small details).

-plastic tray for mixing colours (white plastic lids could suffice).

-blotting paper (optional -sold in large sheets at Opus Art supplies)

-two containers of water

-H pencil, eraser and sharpener

-lo-tac masking tape (1/2")

-small spray bottle

-9 x 12″ watercolour sketchbook with 100% cotton paper, cold press, 140 lb is recommended. This pad is more expensive than the lesser quality pads but you will get better results and you can use both sides of paper.

-paper towels

Note: Supplies can be purchased in downtown Victoria at: Art World (860 Yates St), Island Blue (905 Fort St) or Opus (512 Herald St).

Some of the local Art stores offer a student discount or PST exemption:

1. Let them know at the cash that you are a student at VISA

2. Show proof of registration or payment (your Registration Receipt email from VISA).
