Supply List - Understanding Colour I FNDT121-36


Items required for the first class:

- magazines: look for magazines with lots of black and white photos such as fashion magazines (if you don’t have any, the school has extras)
- scissors
- glue stick
- ruler
- pad of watercolour paper, 9x12 (if using watercolour or gouache)

- canvas pad, 9x 12 (if using acrylic or oil)
- card stock sheets (will be purchased in bulk by the instructor and sold at cost)
- Ivory black (acrylic, oil, watercolour or gouache)
- Large tube of Titanium white (acrylic, oil, watercolour or gouache)
- brushes: a variety of round and flat or “bright” soft synthetic brushes (Taklon or similar works fine)
- gloss medium - 8 or 16 oz
- palette knife(s) ( metal is preferred)
- pad of disposable palette sheets
- empty plastic dairy containers

- if working with oil, bring Odourless Mineral Spirits in a container with a lid
