Supply List - Drawing: Introduction I
Items required for the first class:
- 18”x24” or larger cartridge pad
- HB, 2B and 4B pencils
- white soft eraser
Additional items to be discussed during the first class:
- grey gum eraser (kneadable)
- pencil sharpener
- compressed charcoal
- Willow or Vine stick charcoal
- bulldog clips (2 large size)
- India ink
- Chinese brushes (2 different sizes)
- Conté (black, white and sanguine)
- 1 large Hake brush (2 ½” or 3”)
- masking tape
- scissors
- 10-well plastic palette for inks or similar plastic containers or egg carton
- rags
Paper:
- sketch book 11”x14” or larger
- 18”x24” or larger newsprint pad
- 18”x24” or larger cartridge pad
- 18”x24” or larger Manila or Kraft pad
- white bristol/tag (Plate finish) (x 5)
- Stonehenge, white (x 5)
- Stonehenge, black (x 1)
- Strathmore Art Again Gotham Grey paper (or any grey pastel or other drawing paper) (x 4)
