Supply List - Drawing People
Items required for the first class:
- Graphite Pencils (4b/6b pencils)
- Sketchbook 11”x 14” All-purpose paper
- Erasers
- Ballpoint pen
- Black Chisel-tipped Sharpie
Additional Items to be discussed during the first class:
- Drawing pencils set of 6 (8B-2H range)
- Erasers, kneaded and white/black (Sumo brand recommended)
- Conte sticks (b and 2b)
- Set of assorted sizes vine (willow) charcoal
- Blender stick (optional)
- Sharpie or similar Permanent markers two sizes (fne and chisel)
- Black 18K Broad Posca Marker
- Kuretake Bimoji Brushpen
- Fountain pen: to be discussed
- twigs and home made reed pens
- India ink, acrylic ink and brushes (to be discussed)
- Chalk and oil pastels (assorted set or individual colours based on your personal choice)
- X-ACTO (precision carving craft knife stainless steel) knife with extra blades
- Snap-blade knife
- Scissors
- Glue sticks
- Brown kraft paper sketchbook or in sheets
- Found books (to be drawn in)
- Assorted sheets of paper for dry and wet mediums - various sizes, thicknesses, hot / cold press
- Newsprint paper pad / cartridge paper pad
Additional drawing materials will be discussed after the first class (dependent on students’ personal preference / chosen direction for assignments).
