Supply List - Expressive Botanicals: Drawing & Collage

- Scissors (regular and decorative edge, if available)

- Glue sticks

- Pencils

- Assorted magazines, newspapers, and old books

- Colored paper (construction, origami, tissue paper, etc.)

- Cardstock or heavy paper as collage base (3-4 sheets of 11x14” paper or larger)

- Stickers/washi tape

- Photographs (personal or found images)

- Postcards and greeting cards

- Pressed flowers and leaves

- Markers, colored pencils, and/or crayons

- Watercolor or acrylic paints and brushes (optional)

- Fine-tip pens and permanent markers

- Aprons or old shirts to protect clothing

- Paper towels or wipes for clean-up

- Small containers for organizing materials

- Bring unique materials from home, like ticket stubs, fabric swatches, or special photos, to personalize the collages

Before the class: Please go out in nature and take a photo of three different native plants that you are curious about. Please bring these to class to help inform our collage work. If you are not able to do this, do not worry, the instructor will have plant examples to work from.
