Supply List - Pastels and Nature

Pastels:

 - 12 colour set of soft pastels (choose a set that contains the following colours: red, blue, yellow, green, orange and violet -some sets do not include violet, which is a key colour for shadows). If you have a set that doesn't include violet, you can always buy an individual stick of it. 

(Note: Soft pastels are sometimes also referred to as "chalk pastels.") 

Please do not buy oil pastels for this course.

Pastel Paper:

 - six 19 x 25"  sheets in colours of your choice. These sheets can be cut in half for convenience when carrying them to school. In-class and homework exercises will be done on half-sheets of paper. Recommended brand: Canson Mi-Teints 19 x 25"

Other supplies:

- blending stump

- plastic eraser

- soft cotton rags

- small watercolour brush for blending  (any size would work)
