Supply List - Photography: A Mixed Media Approach

Essential Materials:

• Camera: Use whatever you are comfortable with such as a camera phone, point and shoot, DSLR, or mirrorless camera

• Notebook and pen for taking notes and sketching ideas

Art Supplies: (to be discussed in more detail at the first class)

• Acrylic paint, watercolour paint, or pastels for hand tinting photographs: I recommend using supplies you already have before purchasing new ones to experiment with

• Fine brushes in various sizes for detailed painting and tinting

• Printed photos will be discussed in class and they will be used for various mixed media techniques

Additional Materials:

• Any other materials needed will be discussed during the class sessions

Prerequisite:

• A basic understanding of how to use your camera and upload images onto a computer
