Supply List - Still Life Painting

• Nine Acrylic paint tubes 118ml (Warm blue, cool blue, warm red, cool red, warm yellow, cool yellow, black, white, burnt umber

• Palette for mixing paint  (plastic lids are fine)

• Two inexpensive flat topped long brushes (1cm + 1.5cm) 

• A mix of different types of brushes, include some fine round brushes (about 5 brushes)  

• Prepared stretched canvas about 10 x 12 inches  

• One personal possession with sentimental meaning or just an ornament that you like from home eg. a candle and base, vase, shell, necklace, clock, flowers, musical instrument etc. 

Note: Supplies can be purchased in downtown Victoria at: Art World (860 Yates St), Island Blue (905 Fort St) or Opus (512 Herald St).

Local art supply stores have varying discount options for students. Monks and Opus offer membership programs for discounts. Check stores’ websites for details.
