Supply List - Drawing: Material and Concept

Essential:

- 1 piece of 22x30 stonehenge 250gsm paper for first class (for first class)

- A good sketchbook of mixed media drawing paper, appropriate for wet and dry materials. Ideally 120–140 lb (20–300 gsm) and at least 11x14” (example)

- Drawing pencils (2H–6B range)

- A few sticks of compressed charcoal (example)

- Erasers (kneaded and rubber)

- Small bottle of India ink and a couple brushes

- 1 or 2 graphite sticks

- Masking tape

- Utility knife or scissors

Additional/to be discussed in class:

- 5-7 sheets of 22x30 Stonehenge drawing paper or similar (for weekly drawing assignments)

- Pencil crayons, chalk pastels, or a small set of watercolours

- Bone folder

- Mylar
