Supply List - Urban Sketching

Essential Supplies:

- Sketchbook – 8"x10" or larger (spiral-bound preferred for ease of use outdoors)

- Drawing Pencils – HB, 2B, 4B, 6B, 8B

- White Soft Eraser

- Pencil Sharpener – Manual and/or utility knife

- Drawing Pens – 2-3 black pens with different nib sizes (e.g., 0.3mm, 0.5mm, 0.8mm)

- Watercolor Pencils – Set of 6 or more

- Watercolor Brush – #10 or #12 synthetic sable brush (preferably with a water reservoir)

- Water Container – Small jar with lid or collapsible silicone cup

Optional Supplies:

- Portable Chair or Lightweight Sitting Pad

- Clipboard or Portable Drawing Board – For stability when standing or sitting without a table

- Travel-Size Watercolor Set – Compact pans or a small palette

- Masking Tape or Clips – To secure sketchbook pages

- Sandpaper Sharpener

- Small Ruler or Triangle – Useful for architectural sketches

- Lightweight Bag or Backpack – To carry all supplies

- Small Phone or Compact Camera – For quick reference shots (if allowed in certain locations)

Additional Materials as Required:

- Larger Paper – A few sheets of good-quality paper (e.g., 11"x14" or 14"x17", watercolor or medium-weight drawing paper)

Additional Notes:

- Bring weather-appropriate clothing for outdoor sketching.

- Be prepared with additional materials if required for specific projects.
