Supply List - Watercolour: Landscape as Experiment

- watercolour paint in tubes (blue, red, yellow, orange, violet and green)

• Recommended brand and colours: Winsor Blue, Winsor Red, Winsor Yellow, Winsor Orange, Winsor Violet and Winsor Green.

- white gouache

- watercolour brushes: #10 and #4 round synthetic watercolour brush and a 3/4" flat brush

- plastic palette for mixing colours (white plastic lids could suffice)

- blotting paper (optional -sold in large sheets at Opus)

- H pencil, eraser and sharpener

- lo-tac masking tape (1/2")

- small spray bottle

- 4 sheets of Arches (or equivalent) watercolour paper, 140 lb, cold press 22 x 30”, or an Arches watercolour pad, 140 lb, cold press, 10 x 14”.

• (You will work on one-quarter sheets of 22 x 30" watercolour paper for this course. I recommend you bring all your sheets to the first class; the instructor will show the proper way to tear paper or you can cut them in advance. You will need to bring two quarter sheets to each class.
