Biography

Bryony Wynne-Jones is a British born artist living in Victoria, BC. Her mediums of choice are watercolour and pen and ink, pencil and graphite sticks. Her subject matter focuses on natural history, including botanicals, all seasons, and birds. Her approach draws from the classical botanical illustration genre, while incorporating more expressive elements. Bryony has been teaching for over thirty years at locations such as Island Blue Print, the Monterey Centre, the McTavish Academy, and the Cedar Hill Rec. Centre, as well as other places up island. Byrony has studied with artists in England, Italy as well as local artists in Victoria BC.
