Biography

John grew up in Victoria and studied at the Victoria College of Art and the University of Victoria before completing his graduate studies at the University of Calgary. He has exhibited in Victoria, Kelowna, Calgary and San Francisco. As a writer, John has contributed catalogue essays and criticism for publications in Victoria, Vancouver, Toronto and Jakarta including Canadian Art and Border Crossings. John is currently a full-time instructor at Brentwood College in Mill Bay.
