Biography

Kate graduated from the University of Victoria with an honours degree in painting before spending two years in the art studio program at the Banff Centre in Banff, Alberta. Her work reflects her fascination with the natural world, a result of her rural upbringing. The materials she uses include oil, gouache, collage, and photography. She cherishes her time spent teaching. Kate has participated in group exhibitions as well as solo shows. Her work is in collections in Canada, the US, Denmark, and South Korea.
