Biography
Maddy Knott is a sculptor based on Vancouver Island who holds a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Victoria and a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a jewelry design minor from Nova Scotia
College of Art and Design. Her work elegantly merges object and body, exploring themes of
patterning and the otherworldly. Knott is an active silversmith with a keen interest in memory
and architectural structures, evident in her intricate pieces that blur the lines between jewelry
and sculpture. Her art invites viewers into a realm where the tangible meets the abstract,
offering a transformative experience where reality and imagination intertwine.
