Biography Jenny Hainsworth is a Victoria-based artiste and writer who studied Fine Arts at Langara College in Vancouver before completing a BA in linguistics at UBC. She has had private training in egg tempera, traditional gesso-making and calligraphy in Edinburgh and New York City. Currently, Jenny works primarily in oil, egg tempera and soft pastel, specializing in still lifes and urban landscapes of downtown Victoria and Taipei. Her focus is painting on location.
